Vash the Stampede's Gloves
Protect your arms from the harsh desert's sun with arm-length gloves.
Vash Gloves : $125 per pair
The gloves were made using a nice matte, chocolate brown spandex material. The gloves were fashioned based on the style worn by Vash in the Trigun anime. The manga variant would have had an arm FULL of belts and straps instead of just the six like in the anime.
Gloves Features:
- Each of the 6 straps are hand stitched to the gloves so that they stay put and won't tangle or flop around while walking... (I would not have fun trying to snap on 12 individual straps on my arms where I wouldn't be able to reach half of them, lol).
- REAL Leather was riveted on the back of the hand to best mimic the gloves padding effect
- The golden rings are made just like the anime where they are not complete rings but ring cuffs to cover the back of each finger. We even included the little nibs at each ends. The rings were heat shaped to have a bend to better fit along the wearer's fingers and then hand stitched to the gloves.
- The silver clasp-like pieces on the straps were shaped to mimic the shapes found by combining the anime and manga. They are then riveted onto the strapes
- The elbow pads are painted plastic forms that are attached to removable velcro-ed straps to allow the wearer to adjust the pads according to their activity level.
Close-Up Views
The clasp-like adornments are placed on the gloves to best mimic the placement as seen when worn by Vash (see reference photo below). You can also see the gold finger ring cuffs have the little nib at each end.
