Jewelry
Below is the lot of jewelry I had originally made to sell at the artist alley but was unable to do so.

If you are interested in any of these items, please send an e-mail to me "Baskat" at Baskat@LaughingReaper.com or use the contact form on the 'custome requests' page. If able, please mention jewelry in the subject line.

For interest in the pins, please mention the number associated to each pin in the images, similarly mention the character of interest for the Asian styled hair pieces.

Pins, $10 each
These pins are fashioned by riveting the bezel settings on a leather pad and the pin mechanism. Each bezel setting is initially backed with a paper design then filled with a variety of loose watch parts including gears, screws, watch hands, mics. parts and finally set by filling the settings with clear resin. Two paper designs were used; Design 1 is a piece of map overlaid with red cursive writing, Design 2 uses an aged paper color overlaid with black cursive writing and redish swirls.

Become your own Geisha with these hair accessories!! Just make a bun with your hair and slide these pieces into the bun like the common hair stick/ chop stick style. Add TWO to give your hair an even more authentic feel.

(shown w/ Asian style)

I have made THREE styles: (pictured below)
  • Asian style has a tan asian styled bead with a lotus design, red crackled bead, rich 'veined' green stone bead, koi fish charm, and a Chinese character charm. There are 12 characters; Love, Long Life, Dream, Courage, Happiness, Peace, Friendship, Good Luck, Success, Health, Wealth and Wisdom.
  • Simple Key style has a round black hematite bead, a grey crackled bead, and a large 'Fleur-De-Lis' charm dangled by chains alongside a simple-styled key
  • Fancy Key style has a round black hematite bead, a grey crackled bead, and a medium-sized 'Fleur-De-Lis' charm dangled by chains alongside a fancy victorian-styled key

(Image Order: First - Asian Style, Second - Simple Key, Third - Fancy Key)

Because there are 12 different Chinese characters that I used please refer to the image below to know what the characters look like:

NOTE: Asian styled pieces use one of the 12 labeled characters above meaning there is only one piece for each character.

Secondary Use: you can also use these pieces as bookmarks

(shown w/fancy key style)

Each pendant hangs from a 17in. long suede cord which has a section of chain at the end allowing for almost a 2in. extension in case you need the necklace looser. Each setting was initially backed with a paper design which was then over

Alongside each pendant is an added charm that dangles via a loop of chain. Because there are a number of styles, each charm would correspond to their pendant; for example the blue styled pendants have an added charm of a wire wrapped quartz crystal paired with 2 small blue freshwater pearls.

Like the pins, a bezel setting was riveted with a leather pad but on a 14in. long, 1in. wide velvet lace. The settings are backed with a paper design (same as the pins), decorated with loose watch parts and filled with clear resin to finish.

The great thing about these chokers is that instead of the typical closures at the back, these chokers have 1/2in. wide satin lace at the ends so that you can tie the choker with a bow, giving an added feminine touch with a light Gothic feel.
